Founded in 2013, with roots from Brigham Young University’s MAGICC Lab, Inertial Sense has the vision of making precision and autonomous movement so easy that it can be included in most any type of device. Most of the industry has historically focused on complex military drones and self-driving cars. Our technology is built to enable solutions for small workhorse devices like last mile delivery vehicles, precision agriculture, and consumer equipment.

We enable building autonomous navigation into vehicles such as robotic lawn mowers, delivery robots, drones, agriculture robots, mobile industrial robots, and autonomous marine vessels. Our autonomy framework includes IMU, AHRS, INS, and GPS-RTK sensors that feed a localization and perception layer which can be integrated with a variety of interfaces such as CAN, ROS, and Pixhawk.
