Where Defense Navigation Technology Is Headed Next
In the video, we explore how traditional commercial technologies are being adapted for the defense sector in groundbreaking ways. While we continue to value and serve our long-standing commercial customers, our latest forecasts show an enormous surge of growth coming from defense applications. We are seeing a massive influx of large-scale, multi-year commitments aimed at creating the most advanced defense capabilities on the planet.
We break down the two major areas driving this evolution:
- The Defense Drone Sector: We discuss the rising role of loitering munitions and “attritable” drones.
- Aiming and Engagement Systems: We look at the high-growth demand for precision tactical systems.
What makes this moment so special is the timing. We recently launched our tactical-grade product line just as the market reached a major inflection point. It’s a mix of strategic vision and being in the right place at the right time.
We are incredibly excited about these high-growth sectors and the innovation they represent. Join us for this quick update to see how these multi-year projects are shaping the future of global defense technology.

If we look out into the future ourselves and we kind of see what’s in the forecast, well, there’s no question, you know, in the next couple years, we’ve got wonderful customers who buy from us every single year. So, we’ll continue to do a great business in our traditional markets, many of them commercial.

But if we look out to where the growth is going to come from and we look at our pipeline and our forecast, we see an enormous component of that is going to be due to defense uses of commercial technologies that we’ve sold into before.
0:37 Aiming & Engagement Systems
A big growth component in what constitutes the defense drone sector from that—that drone sector includes things like loitering munitions, attritable drones, and things like that. But also another big growth component is that aiming and engagement systems. So you know, we look at our pipeline; those are all the big deals flowing in, and these are, you know, not just one point in time. These are multi-year commitments that are about making the best defense capabilities on the planet. And so we’re actively engaged in all these—in all these sectors of the business. We see those as being the highest growth and the highest interest. And again, we just, by vision and market timing, we came out with our tactical-grade line right at this tremendous inflection point. So, we feel both lucky and a little bit smart.
